An introduction to the RISD community before the start of classes, orientation programs are an opportunity to meet fellow students, explore campus, learn about various resources and settle into housing. With additional programming tailored to BRDD and international student groups, orientations are designed to be fun, informative and help make your transition to life at RISD relatively seamless.
Brown | RISD Dual Degree Pre-Orientation — August 29-31
Brown|RISD Dual Degree students attend Pre-Orientation, a program organized jointly by RISD and Brown, in addition to the general new student orientations at both RISD and Brown. If you're enrolled in the Dual Degree program and have questions about Pre-Orientation, please email Michele Zager, Assistant Director and Academic Advisor, Brown|RISD Dual Degree Program.
International Student Orientation — August 30-September 2
This orientation is required for international students who require a visa to study in the US. If you do not require a US visa but consider yourself part of the international student community and want to attend International Orientation, please email email@example.com.
